Welcome to Nerds of the North

Another technology blog? Can it survive? Are these guys hammered? “Yes” to all three except the third one–that’s only when it’s really cold. Or after 5pm. Or Tuesday. If you want to know a little about us personally, click that About Us link above.
The upshot on the blog is easy:
- We’re technology journalists; regular contributors to InfoWorld as well as PC World, MSN, and more.
- We live in the northern portions of this great continent, so we grow big, dress warmly, and carry layers of insulating fat.
- We’re the guys they call for reviews and lab tests so our grubby little fingers are on lots of the latest IT and PC equipment on a regular basis.
- The magazines tend to edit what we write, so we need a place to spout and let folks know what we really think. And to curse gratuitously without inhibition.
- Fuckity fuck fuck.
This place will be devoted to important technology news along with some analysis on our part as to why it’s important. Reviews of cool stuff we come across in our digital delvings. And then the hints, tips and how-tos we figure out while testing the latest stuff. If you want something specific feel free to email or comment and we’ll see what we can do.
