$38bn fund data lost in AK
Tuesday, March 20th, 2007There’d better be a whole lot more to this story. The short version is that a tech in Alaska managed to format a hard drive, then the backup hard drive that contained records for Alaska’s oil-funded resident account worth $38bn. Of course the backup tapes were unreadable.
